EpiPen Trainer

The EpiPen trainer is an educational practice device that models the use of an adrenaline auto-injector in both appearance and functionality, but does not contain medication or a needle. Thanks to this, it can be safely used for demonstrations and practice during first aid courses, institutional education, workplace training, as well as in the preparation of teachers, parents, professionals working with children, and lay rescuers. The purpose of the device is to ensure that participants not only learn about anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions in theory, but also become familiar with the correct steps of using an auto-injector in practice. With the trainer, it is possible to safely practice how to hold the device, remove the safety cap, where to position the injector, in what body position it should be applied, and what further steps are necessary after administering adrenaline. The EpiPen trainer is particularly useful in training situations involving children, students with allergies, toddlers or preschool-aged children, as well as workplace communities where participants are being prepared for first aid scenarios. Practice reduces uncertainty, increases confidence, and helps ensure that in a real emergency the responder can act more quickly and decisively.

It is important to emphasize that the EpiPen trainer is intended for educational purposes only, is not suitable for emergency treatment, and does not replace a real, doctor-prescribed adrenaline auto-injector. However, its use can significantly contribute to helping participants recognize the seriousness of severe allergic reactions and feel more confident in providing assistance when needed.
